On January 21, 2023, the Spring Festival, the traditional Chinese New Year, was celebrated with great success, organized by the Greek Shaolin Cultural Organization and held at the Club of K.S. Artemis "Aristomachos", in Loutsa, with the presence of teachers, students, members and friends with their families, from the Shaolin culture centers and groups, which cooperate with the EPOS.

On Saturday afternoon, "Aristomachos" and the host of this year's event Daskala Stavridou Alexandra, started welcoming the friends of Shaolin, who arrived from various regions of Greece, from Thessaloniki to the Peloponnese. Friends of Chinese Culture and Shaolin Culture, celebrated in a warm and friendly atmosphere, the arrival of the new year of the Rabbit, enjoying the rich buffet with salty and sweet dishes and exchanging wishes, with the most important, as always, health, so that and the time to hold a correspondingly successful event.

With the completion of this year's celebration, the Founder and Director of the Greek Shaolin Cultural Organization, Master Shi Yan Zhuo [kin.: shì yán zhuō 释延卓] - Stavridis Iordanis, said:

The Spring Festival is the biggest celebration in China and it is completely connected with family. On New Year's Eve, all family members gather, as did the Greek Shaolin family, drink, eat, exchange wishes and make sure to have a creative time with the elders, creating pleasant memories that will accompany them in the new year. They take stock of the past year and promise not to make the same mistakes again. So we, too, are committed to following this tradition.
