Ευχές Του Σι Γιαν Τζουό Για Το Εαρινό Φεστιβάλ

On January 27, 2017, begins the celebration of the Spring Festival, which marks the arrival of the New Year in China, on the next day based on the Lunar Calendar. The Spring Festival is essentially a celebration of rebirth and new beginnings. The Chinese celebrate the return of Earth to life and the beginning of a new period.

As in the West, so in China, the New Year is a very family celebration and the occasion for the whole family to gather around the table. The celebrations last for 15 days and are completed with the Lantern Festival on February 2, 2017. On the occasion of this celebration, the General Director of EPOS, Mr. Iordanis Stavridis addressed a brief greeting to all friends of Chinese Culture in Greece.

It is a great honor and my privilege, as General Director of the Greek Shaolin Cultural Organization, to address this short festive greeting to all male and female students, the masters and friends of Shaolin in Greece, on the occasion of the celebration of the Spring Festival 2017.

This year, for the Chinese is the 2560 and is the Year of the Fire Rooster. The Chinese year of the rooster is characterized by strength, honesty, dedication, dignity and kindness, qualities that we must cultivate the new year and marks a time of change in many areas and new beginnings.

A new year dawns full of possibilities that invites us to participate.

I wish the Year of the Rooster to have an even brighter path, to realize our goals, to live our dreams, to wake up and to go even further in our lives and ourselves.

My best wishes !!!
Stavridis Jordan [Shi Yan Zhuo]
EPOS General Director
