At 10:00 am on October 12, 2014, begun the Shaolin Kung Fu Evaluation Session [Chin .: shàolín gōngfu kǎo gōng dàhuì 少林 功夫 考 功 大会], under the 3rd Shaolin Culture Festival that was held in London SoccerDome. The Evaluation Session is part of the Shaolin Europe Culture Festival [Chin .: ōuzhōu shàolín wénhuà jié 欧洲 少林 文化 节].
More than six hundred students from about forty groups took part, including the group of Greek Shaolin Cultural Organization.
The team of EPOS won 3 Silver and 1 Bronze Medal which were awarded to Nikoleta Katakalaiou, Marianna Costopoulou, Constantine Antari and Alexandra Stavridou. EPOS masters, Andrew Banner and Stamatina Tsamoutalidi made a great appearance and presented Shaolin Rou Quan forms out of competition.
Head of Greek EPOS team was Master Shi Yan Zhuo and Master Shi Yan Kong, who made the following statement after the completion of the event:
It was a great experience for everyone who were at this festival. We had the opportunity to admire the Shaolin culture, magnificent monks that really amazed with their presence and to exchange thoughts, ideas and feelings with other fans of Shaolin. The presence of great masters such as Shi Yan Ao, Shi Yan Zhuang, Shi Yan Fei, Shi Yan Zi and Shi Yan Lei, allowed us to see the true spirit of the ancient civilization and the culture of Shaolin. I want to thank all the students of EPOS for their effort and moral and the Masters that stand for them in all their efforts.
